Abigale is a fourth year undergraduate majoring in Wildlife, Fish, & Conservation Biology with an emphasis in Fish Biology. She began working with Dr. John Durand and his group in Summer 2023, gaining experience with various fish sampling methods and zooplankton identification. Abigale works closely with graduate students assisting in bird surveys and trawls in Suisun Marsh where she has learned to ID various shorebird, waterfowl, and fish species. She's primarily interested in wetland ecology and conservation, hoping to research them in the future. When not in the lab you can find her hiking, camping, or fishing!
