Jeff Laird is a Master's candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a researcher at the Center for Watershed Sciences. Jeff has been involved at CWS as a field researcher on a variety of projects ranging from floodplains in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to meadows in the Sierra Nevada. Currently, he works with the Drought Water Rights Allocation Tool focusing on water rights analyses in the Eel and Sacramento River basin.
