Bio

Kelly is a graduate student in the Freshwater Ecology Lab, advised by Dr. Rob Lusardi, Dr. Andrew Rypel, and Dr. Nann Fangue. She earned her B.S. in Ecology and Evolution from UC Santa Cruz in 2020 and worked on anadromous fisheries for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife before starting at UC Davis. Kelly’s graduate research takes place at the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Lab (SNARL) where she investigates salmonid condition, movement, and physiology in response to low summer baseflows and water diversions.
