Marcus graduated with a B.S. in ecological management and restoration in spring of 2023. Marcus worked on many long running projects like the Suisun Marsh Fish Study and the ARC project. Working with the Durand group allowed him to work with some exceptional people and influenced him to start his own senior project surveying the Catch of the Arboretum waterway. He is most interested in food web studies and using restoration and conservation practices to create new habitats for threatened aquatic species.
