Bio

I am a junior specialist in the Johnson-Jeffres research group. I graduated from Vassar College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Geography. After graduating I worked with a remote sensing lab at New Mexico State University, with the Forest Service in Alaska, and with California Trout on the agricultural floodplain aquatic subsidies project. I joined CWS in 2022 to work on the Eyes and Ears study, peeling Chinook salmon eye lenses which are then isotopically analyzed to reconstruct diet and habitat use. I’m broadly interested in aquatic-terrestrial trophic linkages, freshwater food webs, and conservation in working landscapes.
