Project Description

Zooplankton are important in aquatic ecosystems because they facilitate energy transport between primary producers (e.g. phytoplankton) and higher trophic levels (e.g. planktivorous fishes). Our zooplankton studies aim to inform how physical factors in estuarine environments affect zooplankton distribution and abundance.

This guide:

-provides a standardized method of quantifying zooplankton

-minimizes in-person training time

-is user-friendly and is frequently optimized based on feedback
