The Irrigation Training &Research Center (ITRC) at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo was contracted by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) to compute actual evapotranspiration (ETc) from vegetation throughout the California Delta for 2015and 2016. The goal of this evaluation was to examine agricultural consumptive use (evapotranspiration) differences throughout the Delta. This report will describe the process used. Results will be discussed in a different forum/report to be submitted later.The area of interest is shown in Figure 1with a “natural color” image in the background.
